Nolan & Bullfrog - CK #95

Hello friends. I hope you are all doing well. Things are pretty good down here in H Town. My foot is just about well with just a bit still of soreness in my toe. I now have 3 lovely wound marks on the front of my foot, but I'm putting some scar oil on it every day to see if that will help fade the marks over time. I'm also hoping to get back to doing my daily 30 minute lunch time walk next week. It's been a long time and I really miss getting out and away from my office for just a little while.

Today I have a card for the Creative Knockouts challenge - use your Buttons! How fun. Don't we all just have a huge stash of buttons that we never use. I'm glad to take this chance to use up a few of mine. In fact, I have a whole case of buttons somewhere and I can't find them. Lucky I had another stash that I got these from.

Isn't he just so cute. Myself, I'd never touch a frog, but boys seem to really like them.

Birthday Surprise - CK #93

Hello my blogging friends!  Happy Thursday! What can I say? It's been sunny, my flowers are growing. We're supposed to be getting more rain by the weekend. I hope not as much as we had over Memorial Day.  Been having some issues with my Paisley kitty so I'm taking her to the vet on Thursday. I can't believe she's 15 1/2 now, my oldest in the family. She's been acting kind of weird lately and with her age, I thought it might be a good idea to have her checked out.

Well, on to my card. It's Thursday, so that means time for another creation for Creative Knockouts! Our theme this week is "Use Your Stash."  Now I know that you all have a stash of something in your stamping supplies that you can use. I used a lot of stash stuff for my card.

 Materials Used:
  • Image - Art By Miran - Birthday Surprise
  • Sentiment - Lili of the Valley
  • Cardstock - Xpress It Blending Card; Stampin Up - Primrose Petals (This is really a pretty color)
  • Designer Paper - Lili of the Valley - Nit Wit - Always & Forever collection

Spring Has Sprung - SOTC

Hello my friends and Happy Sunday. We've been enjoying some sunshine and warm weather this last week. Not to last though, they are saying we'll have rain again later this week. But all the plants are now in the ground and I've had to be watering, so a little rain will be welcome.

I'm catching up on some blog posts. This card was for the March/April Sisterhood of the Traveling Cards swap.  Silly me. I made my swap cards, but didn't keep one for myself and had forgotten to take a photo of it.  Lucky me that Nancy one of my SOTC sisters and a blogging buddy sent me a photo of the one that she got.  The theme was something "new."  I always think of Spring as being a rebirth, newness and a little lamb was just the right thing to use for my card.
Materials used:
  • Image - Lili of the Valley - Little Lamb
  • Sentiment -
  • Cardstock - Xpress It Blending Card; Stampin Up
  • Designer Paper - Stampin Up - Watercolor
  • Accessories - Stampin up Taffeta ribbon; small and medium oval punches
  • Copic Markers - B0000; G11, G12, G20, G21, G24, G43; G82; BG000, BG01, BG11; V04; E23, E25, E29; E21; E50, E51, E53; C1; N3, N5, N7; R30, R81; Y00, Y15, Y21, Y25;
